JENNINGS Memorial services for Mrs. Ronald (Sandra Turner) Suydam, 64, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Entombment will be in the Calvary Holy Family Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Mrs. Suydam died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.at her residence in Jennings. Mrs. Suydam was native of Lake Charles and a 24 year resident of Jennings. She retired from the Jeff Davis Parish Library where she was the children’s coordinator for 12 years. She was a member of Red Hat Society, covenant member of The Holy City Community, Entre Nous and the Magnificat Rosary group. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School class of 1968. Survivors include her husband, Ronald J. Suydam Sr. of Jennings; her mother, Pearl Johnson Turner; two daughters, Katherine Renee Suydam Lobo and Rebecca Louise Suydam MacDougall; four sons, Ronald J Suydam Jr., Christopher P. Suydam, Anthony C. Suydam and Matthew J. Suydam; four sisters, Pearlie Caudo, Barbara Pettypool, Doris Suydam and Betty O’Quain; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Turner Sr. and her brother Robert Turner Jr. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations are made to MD Anderson Cancer Center for Melanoma Research, P.O.
