Sandra Fay Broussard

Sandra Prather Broussard, 68, passed away on May 26. Known as Ms. Sandra, she was a tireless advocate for animals and the consummate southern belle. Born in New Orleans on August 6, she lived in Jennings most of her life. Ms. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother Fay Gill Prather and her father Robert F. Prather. Survivors include her three children Troy Broussard of Houston, Julie Boggio with husband Robert Boggio of Houston, Travis Broussard with fiancé Crystal Walker of Jennings; her adored grandchildren Cameron Broussard Boggio and Beau Boggio of Houston and Skye Aucoin of Jennings; her sister Charlotte Ramagost with son Paul Allen, daughter Beth with Brandon and Lauren Letulier, and Charlotte’s husband Billy of Lafayette. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Mr. David Fruge officiating. Funeral home visitation was from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
