Funeral services for Mr. Sanders Fontenot, 74, will be held at 1:00 p.m, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Jennings, with Pastor Buddy Howard officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist church from 9:30a.m until the time of service on Saturday.

Mr. Fontenot passed away at 6:54a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Jeff Davis Living Center.

Mr. Fontenot was a resident of Jennings. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, going to church and hunting and fishing in his younger years.

Survivors include one son, Brian Fontenot of Jennings, LA; two stepdaughters, Phyllis (Chad) Douget of Rayne, LA and Tracey (Bryan) Schexnayder of Rayne, LA; four brothers, Webster, Norris, Gardnier and Charles Fontenot, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Fontenot is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Betty Jane Bourque Fontenot; his parents, Horace and Alline Cormier Fontenot; one son, Barry Fontenot and two brothers, Lester and Roland Fontenot.
