Funeral services for Mr. Samuel “Sam” A. Hardy will be at 10am Wednesday December 2nd, 2020 at the Living Word Assembly of God Church with Rev. Greg Cavenah officiating. Visitation for Mr. Samuel will be Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 from 4pm to 9pm at Living Word Assembly of God Church, and reopen at 8am until time of service on Wednesday. 

Sam died at 11:36 am on Sunday November 29th, 2020 in the West Cal-Cam Hospital in Sulphur surrounded by his loving family. 

Sam was born September 18th, 1952 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Mr. Allen and Laura Fruge Hardy.  He was a Jennings High graduate of 1971.  Sam was a retired Foreman for Turner Industries and was enjoying his retirement. He was a Deacon at Full Life Assembly Church in Dequincy, La. He was a person who loved to hunt, watch western movies, and discussing politics and camping with the love of his life for the last 47 years. 

Sam is survived by his loving wife, Angela Bergeron Hardy; two daughters, Christina (Drew) Lopez of Jennings and Adrienne Hardy of Sulphur; two sisters, Patsy (Mitchell) Gotte of Jennings and Kathy (Dwayne) Lewis of Jennings; two brothers, A.J. (Bernadine) Hardy of Evangeline and Louis Hardy of Jennings; grandchildren, Camryn, Carly and Court Lopez and Izabel and  Jayce Buxton ; along with numerous friends and family.    

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Laura Fruge Hardy; and one sister, Maureen Lejeune. 

Sam will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
