Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Rose Biddick, 91 will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2013 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 6:00 pm. Visitation on Friday will be from 8:00 am until the time of service. Mrs. Biddick died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 5:28 p.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Biddick was born to Albert and Teosia Broussard Myers in Mermentau on December 13, 1921. She was married to Joris D. Biddick for 54 years. Together they raised four children and her family meant everything to her. She took a lot of pride in her house and yard work. She always said she would rather dance than eat. Mrs. Biddick was a retired beautician, and also a very good seamstress. She was member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America Court 1468 and Pink Ladies Auxillary at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Biddick and her husband were avid JHS football fans. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Margaret (Jim) Robin of Jennings, LA and Donna Wild of Welsh, LA, a son, Jerry Biddick of Lafayette, a niece and godchild; Francis Howard Nugent of Estherwood, LA, two nieces; Sandra (Remy) Klump of Sulphur, and July (Tommy) Guidry of Baton Rouge, LA and a nephew; Buddy (Cindy) Thibodeaux of Crowley, LA, 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joris D. Biddick, a son, Thomas Lee (Tommy) Biddick and one grandson, Donovan T. Biddick and a sister, Eula Mae Myers Thibodeaux. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Biddick, Chris Knight, Blake Deaville, Tim Breaux, Zachary Duhan, Greg Duhon, and Luke Trahan.
