Ruby Mary Boudoin

Ruby Boudoin, 88, passed on to her heavenly reward April 20, 2011 at her Lake Arthur home surrounded by family and friends. Ruby was a beautiful woman who brought laughter to all she met. She loved RV camping and the outdoors and reading and crocheting were some of her favorite pass times. She was best known as a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Ruby was a native of Gueydan and resident of Lake Arthur for the past 32 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ogea and Nella Benoit. She is remembered dearly by her living family members; husband Lee Boudoin of 67 years, sons Kevin Boudoin and wife Anita, Myron Boudoin and wife Beth, her grand-daughters Monica Schexnider and husband Farron, Tammy Guillory and husband Scottie, grandchildren Gabby, Ethan and Noah, all of Lake Arthur. She is also remembered by a favored nephew, Rusty Miller of Baton Rouge, whom she loved like a son. Visitation at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur will be Thursday April 21st at 10:30am with rosary at 5:00pm the same day. Interment services will begin at the funeral home at 9:00am Friday April 22nd. A special memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur on Monday April 25th at 10:00am for all family and friends.
