Funeral services for Mr. Roy Henry Abraham, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Church of Christ, 1812 N. Cutting, with Pastor Kevin Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in the Peterson Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be at the Church of Christ from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Mr. Abraham passed away at 5:52 a.m., Sunday, May 20, 2018 in the Heart Hospital in Lafayette.

Mr. Abraham was a native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Jennings most of his life. He was a retired welder. He loved to dress nice, ride in clean vehicles and was always washing his truck. He was a member of Christ Encounter Worship Center.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Brown Abraham; three daughters, Shena Edwards of Lake Charles, Shelly Lewis of Jennings, Miesha Baker of North Carolina; five sons, Troy (Mary) Smith of Baytown, TX, Tevis (Blanquetta) of Baton Rouge, Kerman Abraham, Reginald (Cynthia) Mallet of Jennings, Cole Gloston of Jennings; three sisters, Willa Mae Alexander of Breaux Bridge, Joyce (Anthony) Alexander of Jennings, Earline (Rev. Horace) Miller of Temple, TX; two brothers, Bradley Abraham, Jr. and Jerry Abraham both of Jennings; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Abraham is preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Lena Batiste Abraham; three sisters, Zenobia Alexander, Doris Palfrey, and Elsie Soularie.
