Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Roy Hebert, 63, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in the Church of the Brethren of Roanoke with Rev. Kristie Prejean officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, La. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Mr. Hebert died at 4:17 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Hebert was native of Rayne and a resident of Jennings for the past sixteen years. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Roanoke and a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Survivors include his wife; Connie E. Hebert of Jennings, a daughter; Shirley Hebert Gay and her husband, Steven of Lake Arthur; a step-daughter, Sue Rowell Carman and her husband Kevin of Tomball, Tx.; a son, Dwayne Joseph Hebert of Jennings; his mother-in-law; Betty Cromp of Chittenango, NY; a sister, Linda Ortego Falcon and husband Bruce of Lafayette; a brother, Robert Del Hebert and wife Earlyn of Baton Rouge and eight grandchildren. Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Joseph and Beatrice Cormier Hebert; a daughter, Terri Lynn Hebert; and two grandchildren, Andrew Egbert and Delana Egbert.
