Ronald "Ron" LeBlanc

Ronald “Ron” Charles LeBlanc, 79, of Jennings passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Ron was born on February 18, 1945, in Jennings to Oza LeBlanc and Mary Miller LeBlanc. He worked as a sales representative for Davidson Sash and Door for many years. His love of woodworking in his shop made his job at Davidson very rewarding and informative for all his customers. He was known as a loving and warm-hearted person, with a knack for making friends. Ron cared very deeply about his family, especially his grandchildren. He also served his country in the National Guard for several years.

Services for Ron will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin Monday, January 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m. for the funeral service. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion Linda Carlisle; daughters, Carolyn (Ronald) Mouton, Patricia Bertrand and Vickie (Ted) Tiedeman; sons, C (Cecilia) Morvant, Mark (Mariah) LeBlanc; sisters, Cynthia (Gerald) Neal and Rosemary (Pap) Louviere; brothers, Donald (Elaine) LeBlanc, Al (Carolyn) LeBlanc, Tony (Christine) LeBlanc, Eddie (Sherry) LeBlanc; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Alice LeBlanc; his parents; a son, Anthony Morvant; brothers, Cary LeBlanc and Shane LeBlanc; son-in-law, Slim Bertrand; and a grandson, Jason Bertrand.
