JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Lee Trahan, 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 12:00 noon Wednesday until 10:00 p.m.; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Trahan died at 9:26 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Trahan was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a retired carpenter. He was a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1962. He was a member of the Lake Arthur Boat Club, Hot Box Brothers and Too Late Cookers cooking teams. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Hatten Trahan of Jennings; MiMi Trahan, his puppy dog; one brother, Clifton Trahan of Westlake; his Godchild, Torrey B. Klein and Great Niece, Tresslyn Landry. Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his parents, Clovis and Gladys Lantz Trahan; two infant sons; and one brother, George Trahan.
