JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Lee Caswell, 69, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Miguez Funeral Home South chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mr. Caswell died at 2:15 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 in the Oschner Hospital in New Orleans. He was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a retired truck driver in the oil industry. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, reading, and watching western movies. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Miller Caswell of Jennings, two daughters, Christina Cormier and husband Allen, Rachael Benoit and husband Shane, one son, Shayne Caswell all of Lake Charles; one sister, Bobbie Meyer and husband Will of Chauvant, LA; and six grandchildren, Matthew Bush, Jacob Cormier, Emily Caswell, Courtney Cormier, Sarah Benoit and Brooke Cormier; and his son-in-law, Patrick Bush. Mr. Caswell is preceded in death by his parents Elyard Joseph and Cora Belle Royer Caswell; his first wife Cynthia Ann Smallwood Caswell; one daughter, Vanessa Caswell; and one son Ronald Caswell Jr. Pallbearers will be Allen Cormier, Shane Benoit, James Meyer, Patrick Bush, Kevin Crispino and Kyle Crispino. Honorary pallbearer will be Will Meyer.
