Funeral services for Mr. Ronald LeBlanc, 80, will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday morning with a rosary at 2:30 p.m. and service at 3:00 p.m.

Mr. LeBlanc served 20 years in the United States Army serving two tours in Vietnam.  He retired from the military as a Sergeant First Class. He then worked as an operator for Citco for over 20 years.

Mr. LeBlanc loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a doting husband and a wonderful father who enjoyed family time.  He was very talented as an artist, but his true love was woodworking.  He enjoyed watching western movies and was also an avid reader.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Betty Gene Duhon LeBlanc; daughters, Cindy (Lane) Oliver from Jennings, Michele (Barry) Oliver and Debra (Kevin) LaCombe, both of Lake Arthur; his son, Arthur (Dana) LeBlanc of Lake Arthur; two brothers, Lilton “Peas” (Wanetta) LeBlanc of Fannett, TX and Gayland (Elsie) LeBlanc of Lake Arthur; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oneal and Nobie Henry LeBlanc; two sisters, Irene Hanks, and Sue Dugas and one brother, Billy LeBlanc.
