LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Hughes Broussard, 64, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Broussard died at 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at his residence. He was a native of Lake Arthur and lived in the Lake Arthur/Lowry area all his life. He was a graduate of Goretti High School, class of 1966, he worked for Amoco, farmed and later worked for a flying service. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Melba Lanthier Broussard of Lake Arthur; three daughters, Evette R. Broussard, Ann LeBoeuf and husband Paul, Betty Jo Guidry and husband, Mark, all of Lake Arthur; two sons, Lonnie D. Broussard and wife Leslie of Houston, Royce Myers and his wife Cheryl of Lake Arthur; three sisters, Juanita Chip Breaux and husband, Albert of Katy, TX, Sylva Sue Adickes and husband, Herbert of Richmond, TX, Vickie Dugas and her companion Roger LaFosse of Morse; two brothers, Clifford Broussard and wife Carrie Jean of Lake Arthur, Bernie Broussard and wife Brenda of Carencro; grandchildren, Cody Adickes and his wife, Marcie, Derrick Adickes and fiance, Michelle Landry, Courtney Guidry, Cody Guidry and his wife Nikki, Amanda Jackson, Jody Jackson, Kelsey Guidry, Kiley Guidry, Jared LeBoeuf and wife,Sharmyn, Ashley Myers, and Hadley Broussard; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Guidry Broussard, his father, Cleveland Broussard, his son, Roy Lee Myers, his granddaughter, Brittany Myers, and his great niece, Kaylee Jade Dugas
