The family of Mr. Roger Dale Mier, 66, of Welsh, announces the passing of their loved one on August 7, 2020 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mr. Roger Mier was born on May 4, 1954 to Mr. Norris Mier and Ethel Fontenot in Jennings, Louisiana. Mr. Roger was known to live life to the fullest. He was a loving family man that did anything and everything for his family. He was a man that mastered everything in life.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Angela Sexton Mier of Welsh, LA; his daughters, Daisy (John) Fredericks of Lake Charles, and Dusty (Chris) Waltner of Boise, ID; son, Stephen (Connie) Mier of Mansfield, TX; twelve siblings; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norris Mier; and by Bobby Joe Rabey and Ethel Fontenot Rabey.

Mr. Roger’s cremation has been entrusted under Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
