Roberta Richard Goodreau

JENNINGS Graveside services for Mrs. Roberta L. Goodreau, 95, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Tom Reighney officiating. Services are under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mrs. Goodreau was born November 7, 1913 in Jennings to Luke and Delphine Richard. She was a graduate of Jennings High School and attended Southwestern State in Lafayette, LA. She was married to Claude E. Goodreau for 55 years and was retired from Texas Commerce Bank in Beaumont, TX with 25 years service. Survivors include two daughters, Nina L. Goodreau and Linda L. Rogers of Bishop, TX; grandsons, Wesley (Patti) Rogers of Bishop, TX, Louis D. (Karyn) Rogers of Austin, TX, Michael Rogers of Pflugerville, TX; great-grandchildren, Brett (Kendra) Rogers of Bishop, TX. Paige Rogers of Kingsville, TX, Ashley Rogers of Bastrop, TX and Daniel Rogers of Austin, TX. Mrs. Goodreau was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and two sisters.
