Private graveside services for Mr. Robert Lee Ryder, 83, of Lake Arthur will be held at Lakeview cemetery with Brother Jered Thomas officiating and assisted by musician and music director Tiffany Ryder.

Mr. Ryder was born on April 21, 1938 in Lake Arthur to Frank and Cora Duprie Ryder. He was a retired construction worker and farmer. He loved watching old western movies and Perry Mason.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Clotile Hebert Ryder; three daughters, Eula (Les) Armentor, Patty (Billy Trahan) Ryder, Joy Ryder; two sons, Robert (Donna) Ryder, Bryan (Sandra Constantin) Ryder all of Lake Arthur; three sisters, Joyce Vaughn of Oil City, LA, Rose Loftin of Duson, Jean (Gerald) Hobson of Roanoke; one brother Jim Ryder of Jennings; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one baby girl on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Lee, Wilford, and Gilbert Ryder.
