Funeral services for Mr. Robert James LeGros, Jr., 46, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Rev. Don Snider officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

Mr. LeGros died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12:19 a.m., in the Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles.

His philosophy was buy it regardless of the cost, you can always make more money or go bankrupt. Quit the job and go on the vacation, there are always other ones. If it breaks just throw it away and get a new one. You have to try it at least once just to say you did. If he told you some WILD TALE believe it because he did it, tried it, ate it, saw it, made it and IT was the truth. He always had the funniest stories to tell and every detail was the truth. He lived his life to the maximum, gave everyone his love, did not meet a stranger and found something in common with everyone. Thanksgiving day he was happy to be with all his family and was always the first to plan a gathering, get together, camping trip, game night, cook out, anything to be surrounded by the people he loved. He was a collector of oddities from handmade guitars to discarded people.

Survivors include three daughters, Sheleece (Jason) Bolles of Jennings, Whitlea Cormier of Hathaway, Kami Aguillard of Lake Charles; two sons, Robert (Sabrina) LeGros, III of Menifee, CA, Aven (Cierra) Aguillard of Lake Charles; six grandchildren; his parents, Robert LeGros Sr. of Crowley and Elzina Broussard Buller of Westlake; seven sisters, Monica Touchet of Crowley, Kayla Gaspard of Texas, Dr. Tracy (Alice) LeGros of New Orleans, Nedia (Philip) Crum of Lake Charles, Elizabeth (Ray) Copeland of Conroe, TX, Mary Parsons of Orange, TX, Marchell LeGros of Jennings, LA; and two brothers, Marshall(Robin) LeGros of Crowley and Joseph Parsons of Kansas.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Julie Cormier LeGros and sister Stacy Murrel.

Pallbearers are Cory Touchet, Brett LeGros, Brock LeGros, Jeremy Prince, David Gaspard LeGros, and Jason Bolles. Honorary pallbearers are Troy Touchet and Mike LeGros.
