Robert Dale Kenvyn

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Robert Dale Kenvyn, 68, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Kenvyn died at 7:45 a.m., Sunday, October 25, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Kenvyn was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was owner/manager of the Lake Shore Club in Lake Arthur. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3012. He loved to read, cook and spend time with his family and friends and tell jokes. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Edmondson and husband Chad of Jennings, Tamatha White and husband Devin of San Antonio, TX; one son, Robert (Robbie) Kenvyn, II; one sister, Lettie Marcantel and husband Wayne of Elton; five grandchildren, Ashlyn Aucoin, Taylor Frederick, Collin Schexnider, Ryan Edmondson, Virginia (Ginger) Edmondson and one great granddaughter, Charleigh (Cha-cha) Aucoin. Mr. Kenvyn is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Joseph and Hazel Fontenot Ayo.
