Robert "Bobby" Thibodeaux

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Robert P. Bobby Thibodeaux, 66, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday; and 8:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Thibodeaux died at 6:34 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Thibodeaux was a native of Lake Arthur, graduate of the Groves-Port Neches High School, attended Lamar Tech for two years and ULL one year, he was an operator in the oil and gas industry, member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, sponsored young men at Boys Village and Mens Ultreya and was former owner of GI Surplus. Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Jenelle Monceaux Thibodeaux of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Paytra Raquel Thibodeaux and Coltra Jenee Thibodeaux both of Lake Arthur; one brother, Danny Thibodeaux and wife Vickie of St. Martinville; brothers-in-law, Herman Monceaux and wife Michelle of Lake Charles, Dale Monceaux and wife Anne Louise of Cincinnati; sister-in-law, whom he looked at as a daughter, Jackie Valdetero and husband John; step-brothers, Tony Hebert and wife Sandra, Marcus Hebert and wife Melanie; step-sisters, Jackie Theriot and husband Herman, Liz Schexnider and husband Darson; his Godchildren, Adam Monceaux and Bailey Thibodeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
