Funeral services for Mr. Robert Ross “Bob” Parker, 69 of Lake Arthur will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.  

Visitation for Mr. Parker will begin Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until time of service at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. by Yvonne Benoit.

Mr. Parker worked as a Production Operator for The Superior Oil Company/Mobil for many years.

Mr. Parker is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Oliver Parker of Lake Arthur; a son, Ross Parker and wife Michelle of Jennings; a sister, Mary Kathryn Parker of Broussard, LA and four brothers, Jim and wife Shirley Parker of Broussard, LA; Bill and wife Mary Parker of Shreveport, LA; Tim and wife Beth Parker of Lake Arthur and Rick and wife Carolyn Parker of Roanoke, LA; and five grandchildren, Kade Parker, Naomi Parker, Nicholas Granger, Hayden Granger and Karter Granger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wiley Ross and Isabel Schlesinger Parker.
