JENNINGS Memorial services for Mr. Robert K. Deville, 61, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home; and 9:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Deville died at 11:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Deville was a native of Crowley and resident of Jennings 20+ years moving here from Crowley. He was a graduate of Iota High School and received a degree in Math Education from LSUE. He was the owner and operator of the R.K. Deville Antiques in Jennings. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church where he was formerly a Youth Director. He loved to dance, and he also loved to watch sunrises and sunsets. He was a connoisseur of fine antiques and genuine junk. He was always ready with a laugh, a hug and had a big heart. Survivors include one daughter, Christie Deville Fredenburg of Vilas, North Carolina, one son, Steffan Deville of Edwards, Colorado; and the mother of his children, Susan Sarradet Bergeaux; three brothers, Leon Deville of Moss Bluff, Sammy Deville of Iota and Richard Deville of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Summit, Sol, Sarah and Phily. He was also survived by his fianc, Patricia Dubois and daughter Laurie and grandchildren Braden and Bailey. A memorial account has been set up for anyone wishing to make a contribution for expenses.
