Riley James Hickman

Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Riley James Rilo Hickman, 66, will be held on Friday August 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mitchell Gotte officiating. Burial will be in the Ardoin Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation for Mr. Hickman will begin Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. It will continue on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Hickman died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 3:45 a.m. at his residence. He was native and lifelong resident of Jennings and was employed as an oilfield truck driver. He loved to work, repair appliances, and spending time with family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; Deborah Hickman of Jennings, three daughters; Belinda (Sam Myers) Hickman, Daniela (Patrick) Richard both of Jennings and Samantha (Brett) Benoit of Crowley, four sisters; Martha Guillotte , Vergie (August) Lege and Aledia LaCombe all of Jennings and Maydel (Darrell) Egbert of Tolendo Bend, a brother; Sam (Vicky) Hickman of Welsh, his grandchildren; Terry James Hickman, Noah James Richard and Colton Joseph James Benoit an aunt; Thelma Belle LeJeune and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Hickman was preceded in death by his parents CyPrien and Glia Marie Benoit Hickman, a sister, Melta Istre and a brother, Nelson Istre.
