Ricky Monceaux

The family of Mr. Rick Dean Monceaux, 64, of Jennings, announces his passing on September 23, 2023.

Services for Mr. Monceaux will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brian Wells officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial is to follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. 

Rick was born on January 6, 1959, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Easton Monceaux and Eula Mae Marceaux Monceaux. Rick graduated from Jennings High School, Louisiana Tech University, and McNeese State University receiving his Master of Business Administration degree with honors. He was a member of the Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma. Rick received the Nisod Excellence Award in academia. He worked many years for Sowela Technical Community College as an Associate Professor for the School of Business and Applied Technology. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jennings. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. Rick influenced and touched the lives of so many people. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. 

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Frances Monceaux; and his son, Andrew Monceaux.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
