Funeral services for Mrs. Rhonda Kaye LeGros Lewis, 56, will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings with Pastor Brian Fitkin officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery under the Direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Funeral home visitation will begin on Friday September 2, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Andrus Cove.  She was born in Jennings on December 21, 1965, to Danny and Eleanore Lorraine Deshotel Legros.  She loved going to the beach, shopping and spending time with her family while shopping together. Most of all she lived for her husband, kids, and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Willis “Boogie” Lewis; daughter, Chelsei (Bill) Hillebrandt; sons, Dustin, and Byron Lejeune; father, Danny LeGros; sisters, Rhonetta (Joe Boy) Gotte, and Rachel (Jody) Dykes; brother, Darren (Misty) LeGros; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine LeGros; paternal grandparents, O’Neil and Lorice LeGros; and maternal grandparents, Roy and Gertrude Hulin and Reggie and Lucille Deshotel.
