Funeral services for Mrs. Rhonda Gail Burger, 62, of Jennings, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Evangeline with the Rev. Paul LeFleur officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery with Military Funeral Honors under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Burger will begin Wednesday, December 27 at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings. It will continue Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. until time to leave for the church.

Mrs. Burger was a 1973 graduate of Iota High School. She was a homemaker. She proudly served in the Army from 1974 until 1978.

She is survived by her husband Steven Lee Burger of Jennings; three daughters, Brandi Thomas of Kinder, Christina “Crissy” Bazinet of Kinder and Jenna Pinson of Jennings; one son, Thomas “Trae” Burger of Jennings; her mother, Mona Benoit and companion Don of Evangeline; one sister, Sharlene Parsley of Evangeline; one brother Art Parsley of California and four grandchildren, Austin O’Carroll, Kamon Wier, Marley Wier and Tatum Bazinet.

Mrs. Burger was preceded in death by her father, Arthur “Jimmy” Parsley; two brothers, Danny and Michael Parsley and one sister, Darla Parsley.
