Funeral services for Mrs. Rhena Gaspard Dupuis, 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Dupuis died at 11:12 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Lake Arthur.

Mrs. Dupuis was a 60 year resident of Lake Arthur moving here from Morse. She worked for Dr. White for 32 years as a dental assistant and was married to her husband Edward Dupuis for 41 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Steve) Gauthier of Lake Arthur, Liz (Lee) Smith of Greensboro, NC; one son, Patrick (Kathy) Dupuis of Lake Arthur; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Dupuis is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Ida Lavergne Gaspard; her husband, Edward Dupuis, her son, Dr. Edward J. Dupuis, D.D.S. and one brother, Dalton Gaspard.
