Reed Joseph Dupre

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Reed Joseph Dupre, who left this world on April 5, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born on August 28, 1951, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, Reed spent his life with a love for farming and a deep connection to his family. A true testament to the simple things in life, he found joy in the fields and cherished every moment spent with loved ones. 

Reed will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Mary Cocke (Larry); his brother, Arthur Dupre (Carolyn); stepsister, Theresa McCabe; stepbrother, Joseph McCloskey; cousin, Della Marie Broussard; numerous nieces and nephews; and his employers, Donald and Charlotte Berkin. He held these relationships close to his heart, and they will forever carry his spirit with them.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, LA.

While Reed may be gone, his memory will continue to thrive in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, Reed. You will be missed. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyons Dupre and Oria Dupre; and his wife, Rosalee Dupre.
