Rayln J. Fall

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Rayln Joseph Fall, 85, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mermentau, with Father Neil McNeill officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm, today, Thursday; and 8:00am until time of services. A rosary led by Deacon Mike Trammel will be recited at 7:00 pm today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Fall died on January 22, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Fall was a lifelong resident of Mermentau. He loved to garden, fish and camp. He loved to dance with his wife. Survivors include his wife of 61years; Betty Fall; three daughters, Pamela (Benjamin) Martin, Particia Fall, and Priscilla (Dale) Leger all of Jennings; three sons, Daniel (Joddi) Fall of Moss Bluff, Nolan (Katie) Fall of Nashville TN, and Darrell (Cindy) Miller of Mamou; six sisters, Helen Ardoin of Pine Prairie, Kathaleen Mire of Eunice, Jeanette Fall of Oakdale, Mary Sonnier of Eunice, Bonita Fall of Abbeville, Wyeanette Johnson of Lafayette; 14 Grandchildren and 18 great-grandchidren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lydia Manuel Fall, a son, Rayln Fall Jr., a grandson, Chad Martin and seven siblings. Pallbearers will be Daniel Fall, Nolan Fall, Darrell Miller, Dale Leger, Ben Martin, Jeremy Leger, Ross Riquelmy and Donovan Fall.
