Mr. Ravis Smith, 65, of Lake Arthur passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

He was born on August 22, 1955 in Lafayette to parents John and Clouya Benoit Smith. He lived in the Lake Arthur area all his life.  He worked as a driller in the oil industry.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Smith of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Elaine Stackhouse of Jennings and Roxanna Murray of Fenton; two brothers, Leonard Smith of Gueydan and Leroy Smith of Mermentau Cove.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Melvyn Smith.

Mr. Smith will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
