Randy C Lyons

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Randy C. Lyons, 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Dr. David Savage officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. Mr. Lyons died at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Lyons was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur, a graduate of Lake Arthur High School, class of 1969, graduate from McNeese State University in 1974 and he also graduated from Mud Engineering School. He was a mud engineer and a member of Ducks Unlimited. Survivors include his wife, Tanis Lee Blanchard Lyons of Lake Arthur; two step-daughters, Angie Lamb and husband Steve of Lake Charles, Lisa Linscombe and husband Brad of Lake Arthur, two brothers, Larry Lyons and wife Theresa of Lake Arthur, Bryan Lyons and wife Cindy of L ake Arthur; step-grandchildren, Jarah Linscombe of Lake Arthur, Ashley Linscombe of Lake Arthur, Wyatt Linscombe of Lake Arthur and Eric Lamb of Lake Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Ida Marie Cutler Lyons; one sister, Christine Lyons and one brother, Casey Lyons. Pallbearers will be Jeff Sawyer, Tubby Blanchard, Howard Blanchard, Jr., Brad Linscombe, Steve Lamb and Harold Roy.
