A Mass of Christian Burial for Randall Joseph “Fig” Stevens, 67, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Randall “Fig” Stevens was born in Lake Arthur on April 28, 1956, to James Edward Stevens and Lula Trahan Stevens.  He was called to heaven suddenly on July 10, 2023, at the age of 67 years.  He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur, where he graduated from as a member of the Class of 1976.  He worked in the oilfield and retired in July of 2018. 

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, sons, and grandchildren.  He loved to put smiles on people’s faces whether he knew them or not.  He also enjoyed being outdoors in his boat fishing, duck hunting or deer hunting.  He was a man of many hobbies and had plenty of them throughout the years.  “Fig” was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Christy Perrin Stevens; his mother, Lula Trahan Stevens; his two sons, Randall (Jenny) Stevens and Cord Stevens; brother, Greg (Julie) Stevens; two sisters, Jackie Stevens and Angie Stevens; and three grandchildren, Aubree Stevens, Tayden Stevens, and Beau Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edwards “Jimmy” Stevens.
