Ramsey Allemand

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Ramsey Allemand, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m. April 27, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas. Burial with Military graveside honors will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Migeuz Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be Saturday, April 25th from 10:30 am to 10:00 p.m., Sunday, April 26th from 8 am until 10 p.m. and Monday, April 27th from 8 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday, April 26th at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Allemand died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:25 p.m. in the Jennings Guest House. Mr. Allemand was a native of Port Arthur, Tx. and a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Mr. Allemand was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the VFW Post 3244 and the American Legion Post 403. Survivors include a son, Ronald Allemand of Lake Arthur, a grandson, Scottie James Allemand of Lake Arthur, a granddaughter, Donna Marie Allemand of Lake Arthur; three great granddaughters, Davonna, Tori and Brandi Allemand all of Lake Arthur; a great grandson, Davon Allemand; a great great grandson, Braiden Treage Allemand of Lake Arthur; and two sisters; Willa Mae Martin of Welsh and Teresa Cates of Georgia. Mr. Allemand was preceded in death by his parents, Elphage and Elodia Allemand, his wife, Marie Allemand and a son, Donald Dave Allemand.
