Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Percy Paul LeGros, 75 will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Emanuel Tanu officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation on Monday, October 8, 2012 will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Visitation on Tuesday will be from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. LeGros died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 6:10 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. LeGros was a native and lifelong resident of the Jennings/Andrus Cove area. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and was a retired ship builder. Mr. LeGros loved to hunt, fish, gardening and playing cards. He is survived by a daughter; Julie L. Hanks of Lake Charles, two sons; Joey LeGros (Connie) of Jennings and Patrick LeGros (Monica) of Jennings, two sisters; Corinna Dugas of Lake Arthur and Yvonne Myers of Jennings, three brothers; Jimmy LeGros, Placide LeGros, Jr. and his twin brother, Perry LeGros all of Jennings and eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Mr. LeGros is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kershaw LeGros, his parents, Placide and Lourance Martin LeGros, a son-in-law, Lynn Hanks, a sister, Leona Roy and two brothers; Oneil LeGros and Wilbert LeGros. To all his family and friends who shared with him, laughed with him and loved him, we thank you. You made his world and life a better place to be. Pallbearers will be Pat, Joey, Ben, Brandon, Jeremy and Roland LeGros.
