Pearl Irene Howard

Pearl Irene Weidner Howard, a long-time resident of Jennings, passed away surrounded by her family, Tuesday morning, the 31st of July, 2018 at the age of 91, at her daughter’s residence in Winchester, KY.

A Memorial will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings on Saturday, August 4th, 2018, from 10AM till 12 PM.

Born in 1926 in Pennsylvania, Pearl moved around until she and her husband, Beecher, settled in Jennings in 1950 to raise their family of 4 children – Laurie Lanier, husband David of Winchester, KY, John Howard, wife Sandy of Monroe, LA,  Bobbie Bell-Oates, husband Danny of Lake Charles, LA and Paul Howard of Lake Arthur, LA. She is also survived by 16 grand children, 27 great-grand children and 2 great, great grand-children.

Pearl, who was a loving and giving mother, enjoyed socializing, loved her quilting and sewing, also cooking for her family and friends. She had a wonderful smile that would light up a room.
