Thornwell

It is with sad hearts that the family of Paula Renner, 73, of Thornwell, announces her passing on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Ms. Renner was born on August 1, 1949, in Jennings to parents, Wilbur and Katherine Thackston Williams.  She worked in the Sales Tax office for Jefferson Davis Parish School Board.  She was a native of Thornwell. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved ex-husband, Sam Renner; twelve nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and nephews and fourteen great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dolores O’Quinn and four brothers, Mike, Patrick, Tommy, and Allen Williams.

Ms. Renner loved her animals and donations may be made in her memory to the Jeff Davis Animal Shelter.

Her family is abiding by her wishes of cremation with no services.  Private interment will be in Thornwell Cemetery.
