Patricia Pugh

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Taylor Pugh, 92, of Jennings, will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Patricia was born November 7, 1930, in Lake Arthur, LA, to Carl Taylor, Sr. and Gladys Roy. She was a graduate of Jennings High School and a native of the Jennings area. She was faithful member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings where she served as a member of the Ladies Altar Society. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts such as ceramics, sewing and crocheting. You could even find her playing a great game of Pokeno with many friends in her spare time. She was a loving and caring person who loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cynthia (Henry) Sonnier and Sharon Pugh, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; son, Richard (Marcia) Pugh of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Warren Taylor of Jennings, Louisiana; grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, Roxanne, Hesther, Douglas, Zinda, Cassandra and Christian; and twelve great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rufus Barnett Pugh, Jr. and her parents.
