JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Archie (Patricia Brown) Hancock, 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the Living Word Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mitchell Gotte officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Mrs. Hancock died at 2:30 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Hancock was a native of Donna, Texas and a resident of Jennings since 1958 moving here from Longview, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Assembly of God Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved to write poems and songs and put music to them. She also loved reading her Bible. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Archie Paul Hancock of Jennings; one daughter, Debbie Crowl of The Colony, TX; one sister, Agnes Mitzi Crocker of Riviera, TX; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hancock is preceded in death by her parents, Travis Wilburn and Alice Elvice Hatchet Brown; daughter, Pama Sue Dupont; son, Alan Paul Hancock; brothers, Leon and Jack Brown, Danny Paul Willis and Jerry Willis.
