Onieta Wylodine Brewster

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Onieta Wylodine Brewster, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Brother Brian Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services. Mrs. Brewster died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Lexington House in Alexandria, LA. Mrs. Brewster was a native of Toro, LA and a resident of Alexandria 7 years moving there from Jennings. She was a high school graduate and a retired secretary in Jefferson Davis Parish. She was a Pink Lady at the Jennings American Legion Hospital loved reading, puzzles and working in the nursery on Sunday at First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Brewster Delanoix and husband Paul of Elmer, LA; two sons, Steven Brewster and wife Paris of Toro, LA, Joseph Brewster and wife Monique of Jacksonville, FL; and six grandchildren, Carli Brewster, Collin Brewster, Robert Brewster, Matthew Brewster, Michael Delanoix and Laura Delanoix. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy Elonzo and Ida Elizabeth Allen Miller; her husband, James Olin Brewster; one son, James Larry Brewster; four sisters, Eula Missey McCollister, Elta Miller, Beadie Moore, Artie Skinner; five brothers, Ivy, Larkin, Ira, Paul and Ernest Miller.
