Norman "Mo" Eugene Mohar, Jr

JENNINGS Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2009 in Miguez Funeral Home for Norman Eugene Mo Mohar, Jr. 78, of Jennings. The Reverend Jerry Masters, pastor of First Baptist Church of Jennings, will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be observed from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mo was a retired motorman where he worked offshore for many years. He enjoyed coffee, cigarettes, gardening and fishing. He is survived by his three daughters, Susan M. Briggs and husband Monte of Crowley, Sherry Gail Kober and husband Jeff of Lafayette, and Jody Ardoin and husband Pat of Iowa; a sister, Gail Fletcher of Carlyss; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicky and Matt Briggs, Kiesha LeBlanc, Hollie Groves, Lauren, Lindsey, and Leigha Ardoin; five great-grandchildren, William and Christian Briggs, Brandon and Brittney LeBlanc, and Faith Groves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hebert Mohar; one son, Carl Wade Mohar; his parents and three sisters.
