Nicholas Ryan Broussard

LAKE ARTHUR A Mass of Christian Burial for Nicholas Ryan Broussard, 24, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Funeral home visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Broussard died at 11:45 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2014 in Pittsburg, PA. Mr. Broussard was lifelong resident of Lafayette and a graduate of the Comeaux High School class of 2007. He was an inspector in the oil industry. He enjoyed boxing and hunting. He loved the beach, his cars and his dog Drow . He enjoyed his job and was dedicated to it. Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Broussard of Lafayette his father, Terry Comeaux and step-mother, Jessie of Cankton;; his maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Ida Broussard of Lake Arthur; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Annie Comeaux of Cankton; aunts and uncles, Judy and Gerald, Mac and Jolinda, Ricky and Rachael, Craigand Annette, Al and Dawn and many, many cousins. Mr. Broussard is preceded in death by uncles, Mark Broussard and Tony Comeaux.
