Nettie J. Kershaw

JENNINGS Funeral services Mrs. Eugene (Nettie LeBlanc) Kershaw, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012 and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mrs. Kershaw died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Kershaw was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a school bus driver for the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board for 25+ years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and a charter member of Immaculate Conception Adoration Chapel. Her children and her grandchildren were her life. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Kershaw of Jennings; one daughter, Kelly Istre and husband Eddie of Jennings; four sons, Eugene Joe Kershaw, Jr. and wife Jolene, Scott Kershaw and wife Sandra, Toby Kershaw all of Jennings, Travis Kershaw and wife Joy of Hathaway; one sister, Audrey Derouen, one brother, Rick LeBlanc of Jennings; and numerous grandchildren. Mrs. Kershaw was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Helen Schexnider LeBlanc.
