Nelda P. Weekley

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Nelda Primeaux Weekley, 70, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Rev. Lloyd Whitman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Saturday; and 8:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services. Mrs. Weekley died at 8:43 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her residence in Lake Arthur. Mrs. Weekley was a resident of Lake Arthur 47 years moving there from Hayes. She was a high school graduate and worked as secretary in an oilfield office. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Weekley of Lake Arthur; two sons, Chad Weekley and wife Dare of Lake Arthur, Scott Weekley and wife Katie of Lake Arthur; one sister, Susie Richard and husband Gene of Evangeline; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Evelyn Whitman Primeaux and one brother, L.J. Primeaux. www.miguezfuneralhome.com.
