JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Natilda Monger Camel, 77, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Camel died at 4:22 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a high school graduate. She worked as a pharmacy bookkeeper. Mrs. Camel loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. Survivors include one daughter, Paulette Camel of Jennings; two sons, Maurice Camel and wife Belinda of Sulphur, Blane Camel of Burleson, TX; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Paul and Elenore LeBlanc Monger; her husband, Dallas Camel; two sisters, Adelaide Hoffpauir and Celemine “Sally” Griffith; and one brother, Ramie LeBlanc.
