JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Bond Courrege, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2009 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m., Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Courrege died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Courrege was a native of Liberty, Texas and a resident of Jennings 57 years moving here from Temple, Texas. She was a graduate of Vinton High School class of 1946 and attended Chenier Business College for two years. Mrs. Courrege was a retired co-owner for Ann-Maries Hallmark Shoppe and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Ann Boudreaux of Erath and Laury Courrege of Lafayette; four sons, Mark Courrege and Paul Courrege both of Kingwood, TX, Gary Courrege of Lake Charles and Brent Courrege of Jennings; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
