Funeral services for Mr. Milton Paul “Nonk” LaBauve will be held Thursday August 6th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Visitation will be held on August 6th, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur, until the time of his service.

Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mr. Milton Paul “Nonk” LaBauve passed away Friday, July 31st, 2020 in Houston Methodist Care Center surrounded by his family.

Mr. Milton was a Lifelong resident of Lake Arthur, Louisiana. He was a 1970 graduate of Rayne High School. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. His passions included LSU sports, New Orleans Saints, hunting, fishing and enjoying every minute of life. He enjoyed sitting on his porch visiting or cooking with friends and family. He had a huge love for his community. 

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Dwayne) Chapman of Kingwood, Texas; sons, Jath (Heather) Mckuhen of Shreveport, LA; Shawn (Nicole) LaBauve of Jennings, LA; sisters Hazel (Ronnie) Bearb of Church Point, LA, Edith Bergeron of Sulphur, LA; brothers Wilfred LaBauve of Baton Rouge, LA, Willie LaBauve of New Iberia, LA, and Raymond LaBauve of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Shawn (Kim) LaBauve, Shandi (Kylun) Byrd, Brendan (Katelin) LaBauve, Kylan (Kim) Trahan, Dwayne “Eddie” (JoAnne) Chapman, Reid Chapman, Luke Chapman, Kara Chapman, and Landon Hudlow; along with 9 Great-Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Eddie and Ezora Pitre LaBauve; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and CW Breland; brother, Jimmy LaBauve and brother-in-law, Robert Bergeron.

Pall bearers will be, Shawn LaBauve, Jr., Brendan LaBauve, Kylan Trahan, Eddie Chapman, David (Cooney) Trahan, and Daniel (Beaver) Trahan. Honorary bearers will be Reid Chapman, Luke Chapman, Landon Hudlow, Bobby LaBauve, and Carey (Shawee) Simon.
