Milton was born on June 25, 1946, in Jennings, LA, to Murphy Conner and Winnie Marceaux Conner. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Milton proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He had a deep passion for playing both the violin and the guitar, often sharing his talents with those closest to him. His music was a bridge that connected hearts and created lasting memories during family gatherings and friend-filled evenings. Milton was known for his charming sense of humor and his ability to entertain with a lighthearted, Cajun flair that made everyone feel at ease. Whether he was strumming a tune or delivering a witty quip, Milton had a way of making every moment memorable.
Above all, Milton cherished time spent with his family. He was a devoted presence in their lives, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply enjoy the company of those he loved. His family was his greatest joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the music that will forever echo in their hearts.
Left to carry on his legacy are his loving wife of 40 years, Mary LeJeune Conner; his daughters, Amy (Rae Rae) Conner, Veronica (Dustin) Robertson and Shelly (Loyd) Tilley; sons, Murphy (Kristina) Conner, Darrell (Kristin) Boudreaux, Shalon Bourque and Aidan Conner; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lois Spence, Virgie Hebert and Emma Benoit; and his brother, Nelis Broussard.
