Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Conner Ryder, 91, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Funeral home visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Ryder passed away at 5:23 a.m., Sunday, November 25,2018 at her residence in Lake Arthur.

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur.  She was a very loving and kind person.  She was always working alongside her husband.  She loved her family and friends and devoted her life to her husband and children.

Survivors include four daughters, Baina Ryder of Youngsville, Marilyn Hymel of Baton Rouge, Diana Ryder of Lake Charles, Jana Fermin of Lake Arthur; one sister, Stella Thompson of Alvin, TX; one brother, John Conner of California; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ola Trahan Conner; her husband Luther Ryder; one son, Glenn Ryder; two sisters, Lois Stroh and Clara Primeaux; seven brothers, Robert, Willard, Desiree, Charlie, Linus, Burnis, and Clarence Conner.
