Mildred Mae Richard

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Mae Richard, 86 will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McMillian officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Sunday visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p. m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Richard died Friday, July 31, 2015 at 8:15 p.m. in the Jeff Davis Living Center in Jennings. She was a native of Mermentau and a resident of Jennings for the past 61 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mrs. Richard is survived by two daughters, Janice K. Richard of Jennings and Charlene (David) Cormier of Eunice; a son, Robert “T-Boy” (Debbie) Richard of Jennings and a sister, Lou Genia Benoit of Jennings, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ella Verrett and Leodis Guidry; her husband, Mervin J. Richard, one sister, Evelyn Romero and three brothers, Leroy, Sydney and Leo Guidry.
