Michael Joseph Roy

Jennings Michael Mickey Joseph Roy, 65, died Saturday May 22, 2010 at 12:35 a.m. in the Jeff Davis Living Center. Mr. Roys body was cremated. Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Roy was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Living Word Assembly of God Church. He was a former member of the Jennings Trail Riders. He is survived by a son; Michael Todd Roy of Gottes Cove, five sisters; Norma Fontenot of Roanoke, Eula Breaux of Jennings, Margie Roy of Jennings, Elsie Blanchard and husband Eugene of Hathaway and Joyce Veronie and husband Alcee of Roanoke, four brothers; Alson Roy and wife Debra Lee of Lafayette, James Roy of Breaux Bridge, Eugene Roy of Roanoke and Rockie Roy and wife Barbara of Little Chenier and two grandchildren. Mr. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; Noah and Ola Mae Breaux Roy and a daughter, Lisa Roy Comeaux.
