Melvin H Breaux

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Melvin H. Breaux, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Daigle officiating. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. Mr. Breaux died at 7:20 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Breaux was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. He was a retired supervisor in the oil and gas industry. He was a member of the Bluegrass Group of Lonepine and the Church of the Promise. Survivors include his wife, Helen Pete Breaux of Lake Charles; four daughters, Shirley Fruge and husband Wayne of Jennings, Roxanne Huval and husband Ricky of Moss Bluff, Sharen Miller and husband Pat of LeBleu Settlement; Karen Breaux of LeBleu Settlement; two sisters, Carole Murray and husband Howard of Orange, TX, Syble Richard of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Laura Breaux of Hathaway; two brothers, Kenny Breaux and Marcie Howard of Okeechobee, FL, Jason Breaux and wife Diane of Lafayette, Oregon; four grandchildren, Monica Comeaux and husband Jeremy, Alicia Kordish and husband Cody; Joshua Miller and Ricky Bubba Huval, Jr. Mr. Breaux was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Thelma Morgan Breaux, brothers, Rawlin and Forbus Breaux and one brother-in-law, Ben Richard.
